And what happens if you don't find anything else in that time and want two more paychecks? This could go on forever! I've been through this vicious cycle before.

Did you even try talking to her Karen? Like I said things might blow over if you do and turn around in your favour. Either way you can't use this job as a reference so whether you quit or are fired is it a big deal?
