Jon Oliva

Woo, I think everyone kinda guessed that he would be there, but now that it's O-Fish-L I gotta cheer :)

I got to meet Jon a handful of years back at a local club in Tampa that my band played at one night, he was very cool and gave some very good advice. I think I might have said thankyou after I gathered my wits and found my jaw on the floor somewhere...

Savatage had a lot of meaning for me and my friends growing up... I can't wait to meet him again and perhaps get an autograph. Living practically in the same town, you'd think I'd have run into him more than once.. but I've never even got to see Savatage perform live. Something always prevented me from seeing them.

Speaking of, something always got in the way of me seeing Sanctuary or Nevermore too... I gotta break these curses somehow.

Savatage is my number one favorite band, so it will be cool to see Jon and Zak together again. How much do you think Jon will do?

I figure he'll come out for C2C's Forgiven, and stick around for one old Sava song, probably Gutter Ballet, but it could be Edge of Thorns. Thoughts?

Tight, I think they will play at least 3 Sava songs together which will be really cool. The only thing cooler would be if they played a full hour of Sava and canned the C2C stuff!

Circle II Circle has really been growing on me, and I liked it to begin with. No, it isn't Savatage, but it is a similar style with some very good songs and an amazing singer.

BTW, I doubt Jon is out there for more than two songs. He doesn't want to take away from Zak's band.
