BEYOND FEAR, featuring current ICED EARTH and former JUDAS PRIEST vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, will be entering an Ohio studio on Monday to begin recording their debut album for SPV Records, tentatively due in early 2006.

Ripper states: "We start with drums and bass on August 29th then get ready for the short tour with JON OLIVA'S PAIN and SAVATAGE axeman Chris Caffery, then we go to Mexico for a few shows, then we finish the CD,"

Why only 6 songs though form the early stuff? I always dug the old Savatage stuff.

Jon has a bunch of new material with his side projects, I'm sure that's a priority.

I'm hoping for them to hit Detroit, I will have to scrap my plans to see Our Lady Peace if they come here.
