JORN - Symphonic

I'll take "Rainbow shaker on a unicorn ride" anyday over, "We're on a mission for the rock". I mean seriously...only Jorn was awesome enough to write a line of lyric that includes Rainbow and Unicorn and it still be badass.

On another note though...I'd prefer hearing him talk about rock and roll all day if he were on the radio instead of this...

Certainly some of Jorn's work is better than others. I particularly like Ark's "Burn The Sun" and the duet he did with Floor Jansen on Ayreon's zeroes and ones album (song name escaping me at the moment).

But if he recorded a CD of vocal warm-up exercises I'd probably still buy it.


Symphonic's a blind buy for me for sure.

6, 7 years ago this would have been a blind buy for me.

Nowadays, it will take something out of this world to make me buy another Jorn solo record. He's still one of my favorite voices in music, but his solo material is just terribly boring
