I just received the re-release of "An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess." I got the original album about a year and a half ago, and it's really awesome. They just re-released it and threw three extra tracks on there including an LTE song. If you don't already have the album, get it now. It f-ing rules.

Second, yep, great album . Personally I prefer Feeding the Wheel by Jordan Ruddess. It's like pure jazzy prog on all tracks So awesome.

I think it would be cool if John and Jordan did an acoustic duet in place of either solo's spot on the next DT tour...

I am tempted to get it, but I dislike a great deal of what Jordan has done with DT. He plays too fast, all the time, and he's addicted to trying to get his keyboard to sound like the band's 2nd electric guitar.

This is different. He plays all piano and one song that sounds like a harp. It's much more jazzy/fusiony than it is proggy.
