JSX was used for most of the leads that were tracked at Audiohammer.

Andy, mind telling us what was used on final gats? 5150 or JSX + Krankenstein w/Boogie and a 57?
Andy said earlier the 5150 and Krank setup...I assume the usual 5150 and Krankenstein through a Mesa cab with V30's setup.
Right, but that was before the release... The Frenchmen informed me that he tried it with JSX, but wasn't sure what was on the final.
Andy himself is not sure either it's 5150 or JSX, Alzheimer my friends...
Checked my archives, apparently it is JSX + Krank, Mesa Cab with SM57
Funny, I just found a XXX for $450 and I think I may have to buy it.
here's a short clip with the JSX crucnh-channel:
JSX Crunch
again, no tweaking on the amp, mic just placed by eye etc...it'll get way better with like 5 mins of tweaking
Ultra Channel:
JSX Ultra
bumpage... Come on, Lasse...![]()
I also wish there was a power amp master volume on the 5150 - the "post gain" is simply the preamp - the poweramp is always AT FULL BLAST. Accordingly, if you have a pedal in your FX loop on a 5150 that has any dirty pots or components, the clicks and pops can literally blow your speakers and your eardrums if you're not careful. Better off not using the loop at all... end of rant...
Daaaamn... so THAT's why that thing (and some other Peaveys) pops so loud when switching it off and stuff... :zombie:
