Judas Priest Favorite

I agree with Timebird.

Sin After Sin is my favorite Priest record. It's SO varied and dynamic, from all out ferocity ("Dissident Aggressor", "Sinner") to morose doom ("Here Come the Tears") to snarling sleaze ("Raw Deal") to triumphant as fuck ("Let us Prey", "Call for the Priest", "Starbreaker") to well done ballad ("Last Rose of Summer"). I can think of no Judas Priest album as complete. But for the purpose of this thread, I'd say Painkiller is second if I was in the desert island situation or what have you.

SIN AFTER SIN ÜBER ALLES!

Ram it fucking Down.

Honestly.

not my fav but i believe you. theres some fun stuff on there but i could of done without one or two songs. has some of priests cheesiest stuff but JP cheese= good cheese. it bridges the gap between defenders and painkiller pretty well.

I feel that Sad Wings of Destiny and Defenders of Faith are the best, but the topic says "your favorite". So I choose:

Painkiller

Painkiller

That album is the cigarette of Priest albums. I give it one listen and I want more!

This is the album that drew me into Priest, I wasn't much of a fan untill a friend burned a mixed disc for me with Metal Meltdown on it. From then on, I wanted more Priest. All the radio hits bored me, as I heard them over and over, nothing really special about them to me, but then this Painkiller disc came along, fuck I was blown away.

Right now, I'd say Defenders of the Faith is their best disc however, most underated, almost ignored compared to SFV, you see a million fuckers with the SFV shirts at a concert, but ever now and then you see a DOTF.
