Thing I like about PF, besides Ralf's voice that is, are the fact that the songs are just well written ( for the most part )
They aren't breaking new ground but they aren't stagnant either.

Well, as I understand the story. Ralf was in the forefront to be the singer for priest after rob left. He began working with priest until they discovered tim owens.

Yep, and Ralf Scheepers still suspects Priest of refusing him because he's German, and he might well be right.

On his own, doing the beyond Fear material, Tim rocks. he doesn't do much for me in either IE or Priest. But yes, he is a great singer.

At times I thought I was beginning to like it, but overall "boring" seems appropriate. A lot of cd's take some time to marinate (Opeth) but I don't see that happening with this material.
