Kind of strange question... in this day and age, how close to the actual release date do you hope to get before it leaks? And is that something that's actually discussed among the band and/or the label?

Well, obviously the ideal situation is it doesn't leak until the release date, so any time as close to that is best. Once actual promos go out for review, the leak is usually instant, so it can happen anytime, from 2 months prior. We're just about of 6 weeks away, so if it holds off another 2 or 3, I think that's a realistic goal.

We don't really discuss this with the label, as everyones thoughts are the same. No leak would be best, but you need reviews to create hype, and sometimes word of mouth really helps. I think this CD has potential to do well for us, so we're hoping it all falls into place.

Ah yes, the preorder!!! Cant wait to get in on this, as July 7th is circled on my calendar...I usually take the week of July 4th off from work, and this year with the holiday being on the weekend, I took the week before off so I can be home for the new CD to arrive
