2nd tracked song mix sounds better IMO. But try to had some more grind to the bass to make it glue better with the guitars. OHs sound a bit dry but you're on the good way I think.

and yeah i can add some plate reverb to the OH's

i compeatly took compression off idividual drums besides the snare and master track for the drums has a small compressor... something like 2:1

Oh god that's definately the general issue with Addictive Drums presets : they're almost all over-compressed to my ears. I like to work with AD OH's and snares though.

yeah, me being new i didnt really know how compressed it really was... the snares defiantly have a wide range of sounds as well haha
