I noticed on the new album Warrel sings (in My Acid Words) “When I’m dead will you remember all the things I tried to say? This cancer inside of me, destroying my life, when I rot in the ground will you care?” The other lyrics, in the song, are also very interesting…

...hummmm....What do you think?.?.

How is that ruining it for people that don't have it? Is recommending someone to buy a CD that they don't have, by mentioning some cool guitar riffs and lyrics ruining that?

Anyway... No idea what to make of the lyrics. All the lyrics are good, I just haven't really taken the time to analyze them yet.

All humans wish to be remembered when they're gone. It's usually not spoken about, but that is how we live on when we are gone. By memories...

I dont think he's talking about himself... he likes to write songs for and about tragedies around him concerning his friends and family, maybe the cancer is a refrence to a friend. It sounds like the type of thing someone might say when they get drunk and depressed and sware they have tezza lumpage. Not good stuff. What Im saying is, could it be another persons first-person perspective?

Interesting...just thought it was odd that he was singing about having cancer and had lost some weight...the lyrics are, like you said, probably in reference to another individual, a metaphor or fictitious…

...hey, what is the red X for on the right of your post?

Recent girl trouble (actually really serious, not emo style gay overblown shite) sent me on a killing spree, telling every happy couple that their love is an illusion. I was then described as a "big red X". *shrugs*. Im not sure if they were trying to say my case was an anomalie in this perfect world or what . silly bastards. they'll get theres soon enough. Just never ever convince yourself your in love, because you're not. It's not a real thing. unless you consider it as a lable for all the emotions you have when you are with a special person, like an umbrella. It's just attachments though.

If it comes out next month, how am I listening to it right now?

I see that we'll need to enter into a scholarly discussion of the meaning of the word "out" that will include much tea drinking and lecture attending.

All of the people on this board who stick their fingers in their ears and keep saying "it's not out!!111111111" in response to any thought about the album are in a state of simple and pure DENIAL.

example 1:
WITNESS: The pipe in your basement is flooding your house.
HOMEOWNER: That's impossible, water only comes out when a faucet knob is turned.
WITNESS: There is a leak in your pipes.
HOMEOWNER: Leaks don't count LOL!

example 2:
PRESS: I would like to ask you about this passage in the Pentagon Papers in reference to your foreign policy.
NIXON: The Pentagon Papers are not out.
PRESS: But I'm reading them right now.
NIXON: Leaks don't count LOL!

Or, more to the point of this thread:

example 3:
READER 1: I would like to discuss a passage in this book with others who have read it.
READER 2: I don't know what ur talking about, ITS NOT OUT LOL
READER 1: But I just read it, and anyone else who wishes to read it can easily do so as well.
READER 2: Leaks don't count LOL!
READER 1: Why are you bothering to interrupt my conversation with something that is completely irrelevant to discussing what I wanted to talk about?
READER 2: Leaks don't count LOL!
READER 1: I would be more surprised if you could count. You paint the sky in obsidian lies. I can see the path you never thought to follow.

 HAHAHA Nice one. yeah exaclty. You freaks, just discuss the fucking lyrics he posted. Why are you moaning about the release date when on the album it sounds like Warrel Dane has written a song about a close to home cancer problem, shockingly maybe even his own. *Prays to some random deity that it isn't.*
