i was messing around in Cubase today and thought i would post a little clip of one of my bands riffs for your opinions, i know theres noise at the start of it which i forgot to cut out and maybe the mix needs a bit more high end to give it that sparkle, but anyway take a listen and give me your opinions.

It's cool. But I think the tone is too "scooped". It has a lot of hi, and high mid, enough lows.. but it needs more eq around 500k and up. Try to find the the kick's attack too, bring it out more. Cool riff!
