seriously though, this album was weak. Too many people expected another Filosophem, and just assumed it was one because it was staticy guitars again.

Seventh Wonder - The Great Escape

Absolutely no competition. An absolute masterpeice. Even blows their previous album out of the water which I didn't think was possible.

Haven't listened to that one just yet. I hope it's that good.

NOt sure if it was 2009, but Deadmau was huge this year with Ghost n' stuff. Heard that everywhere
Pon de' flo by Major Lazor was also all over this summer, but these aren't albums just singles.

Agreed on this one, dunno about the others, but this is the only album/ep i've bought this year that was released this year, not much else has interested me

Yes! oh my gawwwd! Yeah he has some really good remixes this year, including Alejandro and La Roux's In for the Kill
But my friend has been obsessed with him so I've heard a lot of him recently, still really upset I missed him last week, videos from the show are crrazzzy.

Well,its not really like Ashes. I honestly thought that album will sound like The White. new album has this 90s vibe and they injected a little more BM here and there. It might be to heavy in the beggining and not so ''catchy'' like Ashes but its still amazing album imho.

^Les discrets's Fursy made both the Alcest coverart as his own cd's i adore both bands, but Alcest is just a step higher up there for me, more metal, but still great nonetheless

^i found the new Agaloch title song a bit boring... :/

I also loved the white :O
Only gave the album a quick listen didn't really get into it much, but it does seem pretty weak compared to their other stuff. Still really nice though.

This Les Discret song is really good so far though.

Its The Foreshadowing - Oionos . They are goth/doom band and if you are into My Dying Bride you might like them too. Their first album is a bit better imho so you should start with that one first.
