just came back from the Nevermore show...

lioness: oh, yes, absolutely :D. except the weather, it rained a lot and there was a lot of mud everywhere.
I've tried to find Tee right before the Nevermore show, but I haven't seen her :(

Cookie Queen: the show was boring as usual...
I mean
sooo f-kin' great! what did you expect? :)

metalsteph: yes, I have about 100 photos. I'll put a link later. Next week. Second part of next week. Hopefully.
oh, and he wasn't stinky :) (I have a lot more sensitive nose than the others)

kirky: almost the same like it was in Seattle.
de majd lesz beszámoló úgyis a Shock-on jól.

hey, Faffy, I was there, entered some 20 minutes before the concert started. we were standing right at the edge of the pit, around the middle...great times. I got an elbow right on the top of my head (I deserved it alright, didn't have to headbang, right... :zombie: :goggly: )
some half an hour before that we spent in that tent where the guy was selling cd's (metalized bought 17 cd's for 46 euros altogether and I picked only one, Solstice, that was the most expensive, 12 euros. :P )

anyway, I enjoyed the show very much, was very nice that Medicated Nation was the opener, thinking that Jim was not there and it's partially his song. :(
somebody here asked about the setlist, well, I don't remember the exact order, but they played the following:

Deconstruction
No More Will
Narcosynthesis
Inside Fucking Walls
The River Dragon Has Come
The Heart Collector
Believe In Nothing
Enemies Of Reality
I, Voyager
Who Decides
Born
Final Product
My Acid Words
Medicated Nation
This Godless Endeavor
(somebody add if I forgot one or two, though I doubt it)
was funny to see how the crowd doesn't react well to non-"danceable" complicated stuff such as TGE, haha!

no pictures, metalized tried to take some, but they turned out to be shitty, difficult to take pictures while being squashed, and having zillions of arms (and mesmerizing armpits) in front/around you.

it was lovely, I love Hungary and Hungarians are A+! (that's not new...)

btw, Faffy, your pictures are great!

(side note: jerks, punk might not be dead, though do da pogo somewhere else, not in a metal concert. I hate to push and sratch people, but... thx, Warrel, for encouraging them. :loco: )

and metalized asked me "who is that Faffy, what does she look like?" so I showed you, you were taking pics in front of the stage (if I remember correctly). SO, at least I saw YOU. :)

umm, magyar brandy is lovely. :dopey:

I mentioned to Warrel about the irony of finally playing Medicated Nation live with Jim not being there... and he kinda agreed, since Jim wrote "just about all of it"

uh, oh, and I forgot to take photos of the crowd :erk:

which one was so lovely? :)

....
and just came from the tool show
and it was boring
and I was too tired to wait for the ugliest band of the world: napalm death

but I did it!!!!!:

steph steph steph, shame on you for trying to make people think I pissed myself when I was just merely sweating like a "pig"

You know I get so lonely when you're out of the country. It's so very hard for me to pick on you overseas. I'm glad to hear you have your bladder under control...but i still fear what smells you might be brewing in those britches of yours.

"Fraulein"...ahhhhh

(Scorpio tribal dance brought to you by Metalsteph :heh: :p )

Faffy, dunno, the waiter in the hotel where we were staying started offering this, that... when he mentioned apricot I said "no-no, I'd like to have something authentic and sharp, not sweet, without the taste of any fruit". it kinda didn't have a taste and he brought it in the glass. I don't ask too much when it comes to such things. it simply ruled. :)

oh, and Faffy, congrats for your acomplishment (I didn't have will to do anything in all that mud).

I still think there is no band as ugly as The Rolling Stones. :zombie:
