It's on my Myspace, the link in my sig. "The Talent of Deceit"

This is the first track of my new CD that I'm working on, hopefully it'll be done in the next few months. Let me know what you like and don't like about it so I can make improvements for the full version

Good stuff.
Vocals remind me of Jari Menapaaa (sp?) but a little more frantic, which is cool.
More straightforward heavy riffing than Alas, Tyranny, but with expanded orchestration/keyboards. They could stand to be a little higher in the mix, I think. But aside from that it works very well. The solo is killer. I remember feeling the solos on Alas, Tyranny were a little masturbatory, but this one, despite being if anything more technical, sounds far more fitting. Good stuff. Interested to hear more.

professional as usual, wish I could hear it without the "vocals"... I'm old school ya know :heh: but sounds like good stuff behind all that and yes professional.

So it sounds like your digging your amp stereo setup ?

i must give props, this song is truly excellent. your vocals are excellent, your guitar tone is a much needed improvement over the previos tracks, the bass guitar is a little lost imo(dont know if you wanted it that way), i gotta say the drums are weak though, they sound well enough but the rolls/fills feel awkward and are at inopportune times. i also think this type of black metal suits your voice much more than your previous recordings.

Thanks for listening everyone! I really appreciate the comments and critiques.

Vacant Planets -- Send me a message and let me know what you want done and I'll see what I can do. I'm not sure if I can record vocals in my apartment but I can try.

Eligos -- I am pretty proud of this bassline :D I actually put a good deal of thought into it. Unfortunately I recorded with a crappy Spector performer 5, so the mids were flubby and weak... My bassist just got a Schecter Stiletto Custom-4, which I'll be using for my next recordings. It sounds MUCH better.

This is sick stuff thread starter. It's late at night so I'm not very observation, but the only thing that i dislike is the sample you have used for your bass drum, it's too hollow for my liking, but whatever.
