I've got some pretty good scars on my arm from when I was using firesticks. The ladies thought it was pretty cool.

You "recover" from your scars? That's an odd phrase. You mean the majority of your scars have eventually faded?

I recover from the injury and the scar fades about 2-3 weeks after it completely forms. Only the really serious ones stay ( gashes to the bone, gashes through the muscle, or the place where I snapped my crank off and put the jagged metal edge into the artery in my ankle.)

I wouldn't consider those scars then. I'd once heard that it's really only considered a scar if the mark is there for over 2 years or some such.

I hate when my scars fade. I had an awesome one that I got when a hot coal from a fire went up my sleeve but it faded after a decade or so.

yeah, most of the ones i'm talking about only lasted a year or so. from injury to lack of blemish
