If we are talking about the mix i'd say it's allright, if were talking about guitar tone i'd say they could have a bit more clarity. What exactly did you mic with your SM7

the drums are a little too clicky for me. the snare in particular...somewhat hollow sounding. the drummer's snare patterns are killing me. too busy for me. the guitar tone works pretty well for this style though. not too bad of a mix overall.
Vocals were mic'd with the sm7.

OK. Shook things up a little. Drums are less clicky. GTRs and bass are beefed up (are the guitars too much?) Let me know! Thanks! (Updated link in first post)
The mix was really solid; the vocals sounded really clear. I didn't like the drums too much and the snare was a tad too busy. Overall a nice job though.
Thanks, Arrowed. You're the second to comment on the busy-ness of the snare. Maybe I should thin it out a little. Is it bugging you guys in the verses or the choruses?

the snare bugs me through the entire song, to be honest. i would kill a ton of those hits between the quarter notes. simplify.
but that's just me.
the mix sounds better, btw!
Thanks, dasbrooral! I'll thin it out tonight and repost. I suppose after thinning it'll swing more like a sledge hammer than tap dance like it's currently doing.
