Just saw In Flames live for the first time.

When i saw them, they didn´t ran anything like that, no guitar harmonies, vocals wasn´t flawless, i think just synths, is a shame if they are doing it now.

And +1000 what adam said, they only played, moonshield, episode 666 and ordinary story. Soilwork played Nedleefeast :), Ola was surprised when i told him about that song.

I was under the impression they only ran synths, gtr + vocal harmonies/dubs, and chorus layers for the vox to FOH - can you offer some more details on this?

Buddy of mine toured with In Flames, and he's the one that told me. When I saw them I thought it seemed a little too flawless, and he told me that it was 10 tracks at FOH including lead vox.

Pity. Hope he get's better soon. :erk:

I've seen them something around 10 times. The best show was on the first leg of the Reroute To Remain tour iirc.

Yeah, they have quite a lot of Playback going on, especially on the newer songs. Dunno about Lead Vox but there is definitely a whole bunch of Background Vocals that's Playback. I think that's fine though. Whatever makes the show/sound better should be used.

If I had the funds I'd definitely use up to 4 stereo-pairs of Playback-Stems.

I just got back from seeing them in Charlotte, NC. All I can say is... HOLY FUCKING SHIT. The Faceless, 3 Inches of Blood, BTBAM, and In Flames. ALL of the bands were absolutely amazing.

Anders is actually really fucking funny. He was cracking jokes all night, and invited a girl up on stage to dance and take pictures of the band. It was really cool.

Sounds awesome:kickass:
Remember the set list for The Faceless, BTBAM and In Flames (I'd ask about 3 inches, but I'm not really a fan of them).

Hmm.. well I don't remember In Flames' exactly, but here are some videos from the show (pretty good quality too).

The Faceless played Cold Calculated Design, An Autopsy, Xenochrist, Sons of Benial, and The Ancient Covenant.

BTBAM played All Bodies from Alaska and then mostly stuff from Colors.

And In Flames playing Embody the Invisible made my fucking day, I just love that song so much. They played it 2nd.

I was there to, quite an amazing show. I see around 150 shows a year with my job and by far.. this was in my top five. There was not many overlays that were tracked before the show either. I was kicking it with the sound guy and had a pretty close watch on their tech as well (i was standing near him) so maybe we were one of the lucky ones and got the real thing if that stuff is true :)

(My favorite shot of the night, the other was Anders tell me (the media) to kiss his butt.. got a nice pic of it though LOL!)

New to the forum and actually found it by searching to see what the other photographers at the show caught. Haven't seen much... anyway if you want to see some photos from the show go to www.shutter16.com also put up stuff from BTBAM I always shoot their show when they are in town. Still great show from In Flames I've been a fan for yearssssssssssss. Now I feel old. Anyway, enjoy the shots.
