Ooh conflicting reports. I liked the first one, I thought it was really entertaining, but the second one... was so boring, I almost wanted to walk out. But you say the third is better? It better be! Because I am going to see it tonight!
I agree with you Jennifer. I loved the first one, absolutely hated the second one, and thought the 3rd one was the best of the 3.

Trash movies. Made the mistake of seeing the first two. I can't remember a damn thing besides the cheesiest thing i've seen, The slow-mo part where the captain jumps into the monsters mouth. Whats wrong with people? Mindless blockbuster retardation.

The first one has an appeal. The second was terrible and this one was shockingly bad. I've never seen such a convoluted movie.

yeah, i found the story in this one pretty bad. the only thing i could truly enjoy was depp's dialogue and some of his scenes. mainly the rum ones. i can appreciate that.

well i saw it and it was really boring, it was like 3 hours long too. they talked for like 2 hours and then there was a big fight in the rain on their ships, but it didnt last that long, then they blew up the bad guy's ship pretty quickly at the end, then it went on for like 30 more min lol 
Same. Doesnae look worth the effort (save the fuck off-sized Kraken - an awesome monster), and this third one...3 fucking hours? With (supposedly) an hour to an hour and a half of worthless, dull dialogue? Um, no thanks.

And i bet Keith Richards only had to go through dressing up and skip the make up room!

Saw it yesterday and while the rest of my party was rather dissappointed, I was quite happy with the movie. There are quite a few things that I would have changed (Davy Jones being more badass, Tia Dalma not always about to cry, less talking). But overall, I'm a die-hard pirate lover and very much enjoyed the movie.
Those highly critical of movies, such as my brother-in-law, will be ranting about this movie for days. And PS - the 3 hours goes by rather quickly.

it was ok...but wayyyyy too long and not as satisfying as i had hoped. i wouldn't be surprised if they had to make a fourth. they say it won't happen, but now we need to see elizabeth swan go crazy having to wait 10 years for seks
