Im hoping the new album will redeem themselves to some extent. With Bob Rock out of the picture and Rick Rubin in, maybe they'll change their direction.

Are you related to Smeagol??cause if i'm not mistaken on page two you go on about how gay this thread and what old news this is...and on page three you actually pick into the argument??

metallica are aweful..

i mean, some of their music is alright, but i can't get pass how much of assholes they are.

i once read an interview where lars was talking about how they have the 'right' to act how they do because they've done a lot for music... i wanted to puke. they've barely scratched the surface when compaired to what the Beatles have done (and still do today). metallica has influenced metal, i'll give them that... but metal is such a small genre of music. basically, metallica blows.

Metallica 83-86 was huge, then sudenly they were selling out hige shows ans they grew an ego. Then they had the additude of "we're fucking metallica, they'll like anythign we do!"

The early days it was just about good heard fast metal, it was good shit.
