yeah, i have one of those and its not bad. im sure it does just about as much as
a mackie control. although the mackie is built way nicer and has a larger footprint. id check out the bcf2000 if all you want is faders and transport and a few knobs to turn. i would rather more faders though and the mackie you can expend as you go if you want more faders. pretty spendy though.

To answer your question Lee, if you already have a 01X, you don't need to buy a Mackie controller. If you already have a Mackie controller, you don't need to buy a 01X. And if you have none, you don't need to buy any of those :p
But if you REALLY insist on buying something (english people are so stubborn :tickled: ), get the Mackie (assuming you only want to remote-control Nuendo). But this is, to me, more like a toy or a gadget than a real need in the sense that it is not necessary, it's just for comfort... :Smug: I must say it's pretty low on my gear wish-list (mmmmh, no, wait, it's not even on it, lol)

Hmm. It's just that I hate fiddling around with a mouse. I also like the idea of the 01x's internal effects, etc, that don't effect the host's CPU.

I'm still thinking about it... If someone shows an interest in buying my Les Paul bass I might well go for it.
