Just when Metallica's ideas couldn't get any worse...

There was one Metallica joke that was really good, shit I don't remember what it was, but it said they were suing The Weather Channel for saying the word "lightning" too much, or something like that.

This joke sucked, a couple of years ago would've been okay. Oh jeez man, it's 4 fucking years old, pay 3 seconds of attention next time and you would've realized that.

It's not exactly right on the ball or the best offering from BBspot, but if you avoid mistaking it for the truth, it's not that bad :)

Wow. Did you not see the "June 2nd" date above the title? Last I checked, June is a long way off from December.
June of 2000 is a lot further away than June of 2004. At least I'm pretty sure...

The funny one was the patent on the "E, F chords" and the impending lawsuit against some band for using the progressions...done early this year or late last year. They set links up on MTV.com and the Metallica website. It almost fooled me, especially with the whole thing about the band being a real band(Underoath I think) and the tone of voice and defense being the exact kind Lars would use.

This one just flat-out sucked.
