Hate to be a spoil sport, but so far I hate this album (and I love Kalmah). To me, most of the songs are far too similar and none of them are particularly memorable except Defeat (kickass tune). The low death grunt vocals are kind of dry and boring in my opinion. There are some cool melodies on the album but no good solos and I think at times the blastbeats detract from Kalmah's sound. Much better than Are You Dead Yet? and Till Death Unites Us (of course), but a disappointment to me..

Yeah, I pretty much agree with that I guess. I was starting to like it but I stopped listening to it. Usually when I get a kick ass album, I'll listen to it over and over and with this one, I just get bored of it. Oh well, the new vanden plas is currently my fav album of 2006.

Mors Principium Est changed somewhat like this too for their newest cd. The Unborn. It's an amazing album song after song. much like The Black Waltz. except possibly better imo
