Without comparing it to the greatness of The Wall..this is their Wall in their own right and IMO 100 times better than Queensryche's OMCII or alot of stuff they have been putting out.
It's also unfair to classify them only as Metal. KHAN is one of the best singers going.

Any thoughts?

Been digging all of the back catalog as well. Am going to see them Sep. 30th!!

Kamelot is alright. Don't dig TBH alot at the moment though. Maybe it might grow on me.

Kamelot is a good band, you can find quite alot of their songs on 'Dave's progressive metal page' (type it in google because I can't remember the actual sites name...)

The song that I like best is 'sailorman's hymn', that kicks arse!!!

March Of Mephisto is the song with him singing on it. Interesting to hear others points of view on these guys. I like 'em alot. It's good to see not everyone dislikes them but those that don't...it's cool.

I think they are a good band but I have just never been able to get into them. I borrowed the new album from a friend for a few days and while it was alright, it didn't do much for me. I am looking forward to seeing them live though.

Love em! The Black Halo is their best so far in my opinion. The cool thing about Kamelot is they seem to evolve with each album ever so slighty, just enough that you can enjoy them for the things you can expect from album to album and also for the new stuff they introduce every time as well. Great band and great writers.

They are an absolute staple for me, in the sense that I can usually not go a month without listening to an album of theirs.

I think Karma is easily their best album for repeated listens but that Epica and The Black Halo are overall better albums in terms of single listens once in a while. I get much more out of those two then I do any other album.

I sure can not wait for their next album, especially since it will be a return to a non-concept based album.

I enjoyed their last, but I don't listen that often. I'm just never in the mood. Actually, I hardly ever listen to concept albums of that sort. Great music, of course. I'll buy their next, since it isn't a concept album, and I might really get into them then.

I think they're extremely cool and love their previous works... however The Black Halo is just a bit off, it doesn't really do anything for me.
