I am a big Kamelot fan. They have an exquisite sound to their stuff. They aren't as technical as other bands, but they write great songs. Youngblood does some really tasteful leads and some great rhythm work. I think they are good technical players, but they do a good job of harnessing it and showing restraint when the song calls for less flare.

Dream Theater is amazingly technical, but I would take Kamelot over them any day.
