Kamelot's Ghost Opera - Thoughts?

As a follow-up to the Symphony X thread:

What do you all think about Kamelot's new album? Yeah, I had for a while before it was officially released and I've fallen in love with it. All together, I'd say it's a solid album though not as awesome as Epica, Karma, or Black Halo. And I know James isn't too fond of Kahn's slower songs, but Anthem of Life is easily one of my favorites on the cd.

I like it a lot. A whole lot. I think that, while it definitely doesn't break any ground, it has some of the best hook writing they've done on it.

I enjoyed The Black Halo a lot more. I don't find this CD too entertaining compared to their other works.

the universal thing I've heard and agree with, is that this resembles Conception a lot more than their past work. I think Conception was hugely underrated, so I won't argue.
