Kataklysm/Eluveitie Tomorrow

Don't get off work until 7:30pm so I'm not sure which, if any, of the openers I'd still be able to catch. Especially want to see Eluveitie and Keep of Kalessin on that bill, though.

I saw the first show of the tour.....really good. I left before Dying Fetus. I have seen Kataklysm about 6 times so missing them isnt a big deal. Eluvietie were really good but the new members replacing the brothers is definetly hurting thier live show. Still a great live band but really missing the energy and heart they once had. Keep of Kalissen were just OK live. Decent but way over hyped. Naglfar is lots better.

Did you catch the Eluveitie setlist?

I heard they are playing nothing from Spirit....for some reason :erk:

I couldn't get off work early, so I drove by the Masquerade....opted not to go inside, thanks to the still-lingering effects of the ProgPower Plague and the fact that I had already missed Keep of Kalessin. I parked outside on the road and heard most of Eluveitie's set, though. :kickass:

was a very fun show - Keep was surprisingly good - hadn't heard them before. elu was great, tho their set was way too short, and the missing players definitely put a damper on the tone. got to do some moshing during dying fetus, which was fun; and kataklysm was off to a good start when i decided to go (seen them a couple times already).
