I was wondering if Dance of December Souls would be a good first katatonia album for me to buy, since they have it at theendrecords. I heard a few songs of theirs and thought they were pretty good.

right Brave Murder Day is a growls album with Mikael from Opeth on vocals, its better IMO to DODS but both are great. if your after clean vocals then get Tonights Decision first.

i would reccomend Discouraged Ones because it is a bridge between their 2 styles. it has music like the Brave Murder Day album in places but the clean vocals from their newer style...
if u hate clean vocals at all then DODS is a good starter album although i aswell prefer BMD.
