Kazaa alternative?

I use Soulseek, because I'm on 56k (which disconnects every 4 hours - Australia-wide ISP policy). When my connection re-dials after the 4 hours disconnection, Soulseek automatically reconnects and resumes my transfers. No other P2P client will do that for me. I usually only download stuff when I'm sleeping (hence why I can't manually resume the downloads) - 'cos when I'm doing other stuff online, it lags me.. terribly.

And for the record, I'm not even sure if I like Townsend. Everyone seems to hang off his nuts
   Yeah, Devin fanboys are some of the worst around. For the record, I love Terria, but everything else he's ever done I find very repetitive musically, and narrow in scope and execution.

Daath, i've only heard that most recent album, so no, I don't know the older stuff. I'll see if I can check it out sometime.

Tanith - what hubs do you use on DC++? I've been to a fair few different metal hubs and the UM/sublevels one is one of the poorest for variety/content. How does Soulseek compare for really underground stuff?

The thing that really motivated me to check out Townsends other work (since I wasn't a huge syl fan) was when a friend of mine said that "Swano was OK, but nothing compared to Devin Townsend, he's just amazing." This was after I let him borrow my copy of Moontower. I should have known better since he wasn't familiar with most of my favorite bands. Swano has quite a few fan boys too I guess, but even so I really don't think Townsend holds a candle to him. Maybe it'll grow on me though. We'll see.

Feel free to dl Daaths old demo from me. My screen name is the same as on here and it should be listed under "dirt nap" which was their old name.

Does anyone know the address if the Ultimatemetal DC hub? The old one seems to be gone.
