Keep it True, who's going ??

COOL! Thanks for posting that. So how did you like the show?

As Griffin mentioned, the sound wasn't very good... We heard too much bass drums, and very little guitars at moments... but we were sitting on the seats above right, and later we discovered sound downstairs was much better. Anyway, I liked seeing Exciter for the first time in my live, I hope to catch you guys again in future!! Finally got to see those classic metal songs alive; HM Maniac, Violence & Force, ... I really would like to hear "Iron Dogs" next time (hint hint) , my favorit old Exciter song...
I'm pretty curious about the video that was taped. i just saw the DVD of last year's show, and the sound of it is real good (taped at mixing board offcourse, wich is completely different from what we hear in the hall).
If the DVD I gave you doesn't work lemme know, and I'll try and make another one for you, or try to rip the Exciter part of it... But first maybe try it in another PC or region free DVD player...

Damn... I really should have gone over and asked you if you were you, heheheh... Drives home the saying: "he who hesitates is lost". Next time I will say "hi", and maybe we can have a beer or something!

Cheers!

yeah beer's good :headbang:

carnut mentioned it already but take a look at the bill of KIT VII:

I am going to write more on KIT VI but not now.
This morning I went to the hospital to get a molar removed.
I don't feel like writing a big review. But I will write it later!

just heard all 500 tickets for KIT 7 are sold... Good we did buy tickets as soon as they were available...

Thanks man. I have to upgrade my computer anyway, so I should be ok with the DVD you gave me. Once I've done the upgrade if I have any issues with it, I'll let you know.

It's a real bummer about the sound. I've read a bunch of comments like that... it's disappointing when bad sound affects the enjoyment of our performance.

I can't wait to get back over to Europe!!! The next thing si to go and record the new CD, though, so I think our live playing wil be fairly limited this summer.

Cheers!

Geeze! Get to feeling better. The dentist told me over a year ago that I need to get my three remaining wisdom teeth yanked. I still haven't done it. :)

Clammy, I think Exciter played my home town waaaay back in the day but I'm not completely sure. It would have been late '84 - early '85. I wish I still had the flyer from that show so I could be sure. Would you happen to know?

Thats the one that got removed. My wisdom teeth! I could not find the English name for that tooth.

All I can tell you is the longer you wait the more trouble they will cause you. Go for it Weezer. Don't wait to long like I did. you will regret it.

At the moment I feel bloody sick so I'll stop writing now.
Thanks a lot for the good wishes!

Yeah, I need to get them out because they're damaging the teeth next to them. I was waiting for the first of the year for insurance to go back to zero so it wouldn't cost me and now I'm working up the nerve to get them out.

Riot were GREAT. I headbanger my head off and it still hurts. Tokyo Rose, Narita, Overdrive, Warrior... an amazing setlist. The vocalist looked kinda gay but who cares, lots of people look gay there, amazing performance.

And I was just wondering how could they be bad...
A girl I met in Slovenia told me they were boring and that they had some sort of too long jam session going on (?!?).
Was that gay singer Tirelli or someone else?

Glad you all enjoyed the festival! :headbang:

Well, tell the girl she has bad taste , Riot was great !!
Their was a drum-guitar solo part that maybe was a bit long...but as Hawk mentioned, this is a 70's based band and they all did that back than!
Here's a pic of the Riot singer, don't know his name...

Mike Tirelli and I don't care he looks gay if he sings well, look at Halford he IS gay and sings very good even at his age.

Hope the band record something soon.

oooh yeha I forgot about the solo's. That was WAY to long and really boring - but I don't like drumsolo's. And the guitarsolo was way to long. Took like 10 minutes altogether - buh. But, the rest: KILLER

Alamosa, Colorado. It's a tiny town in Southern Colorado. There's a college, and, therefore, a couple of good-sized bars that used to get bands in from the bigger cities over the hill -- like Denver. The college would usually get a band in for a show in the Spring. Usually the band was on tour and they'd do it for a pick up date and a little extra cash. They had Frampton one year, Steppenwolf another, Greg Kihn, and Jag Panzer.

There's a good chance that Exciter played there back in the 80s. They toured the US quite a bit back then.

Cheers!
