Kerry King vs. Dave Mustaine

I like Slayer, but in a guitar-battle Mustaine would beat Kerry King any time of the day.

Mustaine is definitely a better player and although I don't really like either band I'd rather listen to Slayer (providing it was some of the earlier albums).

Kerry King is better. His solos fit the early Slayer songs just right.

Kerry can play faster and play evil solos, Dave has more responsibilities and canplay better plus he's a better songwriter. +1 for Mustaine, Kerry seems to be stuck on his playing,the no room for advancement syndrome if you know what I mean.

Dave. Kerry is just too damned sloppy, and live his guitar is low in the mix for that very reason.

I like Slayer as a band more than I like Megadeth, but Dave's the better guitarist.
