KEVIN!!!!!

About the only buildings that I like are old style Victorians and Japanese/Chinese style pagodas. pretty much everything else is built like a box.

In Southeast Texas along the Gulf Coast, uh yeah. There are a couple of "preserves" for tourists but also wild rainforest along the coast.

Its cause he was to high to realize what the hell he was talking about.
You're lucky though, I'd really like to see the Olympic National Park.

the Olypen(Hoh Rainforest) is the only TEMPERATE rain forest in the US or so i was told...not just the only rainforest...im sure theres others...
Texas and California ARE related! im convinced! i hear Dallas area looks strikingly like our Central Valley...But the redwoods here are something to behold! ohhhh mang!
Im glad American (major) cities are unique...

Well I believe the counterpoint to Temperate Rainforests are Tropical Rainforests, and as such there are so Tropical Rainforests in the US

They serve the worst food I've ever eaten in a restaurant combined with the noisiest atmosphere of any restaurant I've ever been in.

I googled a bit and found references to "only temperate rainforest" and "only temperate coniferous rainforest" but I can't find any of these claims on any "official" pages. However on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park page they reference their very own "coniferous rainforest," making the prior claims rather dubious, and it is definitely temperate, not tropical.

hmmm...perhaps so...i dunno..i was just repeating what i had read about the place since my family and i are planning a trip there this summer...
and yer right, there are no tropical rainforests here.... D:

oh but it seems Puerto Rico has the "El Yunque National Forest" which is a Tropical Rainforest in the possession of the US. go Amurricaaaa

Rainforest Cafe :ill:

And to think that Derick and I ditched an Opeth concert to go to a mall. A mall which ended up being closed when we got there because it was a Sunday night! Well, it was closed except for the Rainforest Cafe! So yeah, we ate a disgusting dinner at Rainforest Cafe instead of seeing Opeth, and we felt good about it.

Actually, I still feel kinda good about it.

We like Opeth, no doubt, but their shows tend to get very boring very quickly, at least in our experiences. We were very tired that night, so about halfway through the drive to the venue we both agreed we would rather sard on a bench at the mall, or, at a table at Rainforest Cafe, as it turned out.
