Thank you all for recognizing my birthday! A cyber bottle of vodka will sure come in handy, as the the sambuca, my nemesis, the booze i hate to love. I was especially moved by the person who spent his last cybercent on a loaf of bread, and all the fabulous cookies. How did you know?!
The day passed in a very unglamorous fashion due to a severe cold. Rahvin might have noticed me trying to drink it away last saturday. Newsflash. It doesn't work. That studio visit seems to be jinxed, sorry mate. I am happy however you found Universal Poplab to your liking!
Since you are all such an open minded bunch of music lovers I will just go ahead and advert it to you guys aswell. Universal Poplab is the latest flavour in the romantic synth genre and I really recomend it! Those of you who feel secure enough in your sexual identity to enjoy the sweet tones of Erasure and Soft Cell just might enjoy this quite a bit since teir effort in this debut album is stellar.
There is even a DT-trivia on the subject. It's maybe a bit uninteresting but it's my birthday so I will practice my right to rant! Universal Poplab's lead singer Christer Lundberg and me used to have a synthetic duo for several years long ago before me entering dark Tranquillity. It wasn't much under the sun but it created the embryo who later became the lead melody for The Wonders At Your Feet. You can even see him credited in the Haven booklet.
So if you feel adventurous you might want to check them out. Remember you might not like it at all but I'm the keyboard guy so it kind of comes with the territory.
