Keystation 49e problem, can it be fixed??

I got this keyboard from a friend and he told me that has this failure, and it was no problem because i only used for a few things, But now i need to use it live with my laptop for a cover band i work, the problem is when i am playing it all is fine and suddenly it freezes, i mean in the note im playing it stay freeze and that´s it, just dont work until i press off and on again , and need to restart Reaper, it´s annoying, imagine the we are playing Van halen´s jump and suddenly it just stay in the note i was playing at the moment of the failure

So i was thinking to take it to the tech for repair, but i don´t now if this problem could be fixed, or fixed by a common Tv/car stereo/computer electronics repair guy, because here in my town there isn´t a musical oriented Tech.

Or is better to buy a new one, i was thinking on the M-audio Keyrig, is almost the same but it came with this Keyrig software that could be pretty usefull for me.

It sounds like your issue is that the on off MIDI message gets stuck to ON. All you ahve to do is tap the key(s) that are stuck a few times to get it to turn off.

I tried that and nothing, but maybe i haven´t tried enough, i think it could be that(midi message stuck in on) but i can´t be fixed until you turn off and on the unit. another option to fix this?? maybe some internal component are broken??

I think i gonna take it to the tech and see what happens, because i don´t now anything about electronics, i don´t think is software related, because my friend had the same problem with it.

If not i think i´ll buy the M-audio oxygen 49, seems really cool, anyone have used it??
