I have fallen in love with this album. Right now it is on the top of my list....I just cant stop listening to it. I think I like it more than Seventh Son and Somewhere in time. Every track on this album rocks and the whole album flows soo nicely.

Clive burr is awesome in this album........anyone agree? You guys prolly think Im crazy huh? :p

Crazy???? HAYELLL NO!!!! WHY would we think that??? ;) Clive Burr is a GOD!!!!!!!!! :worship: He has the fire that helps makes this album so damn classic IMO!!!!!!!!! I LOOOOVE that man's drumming!!!!! Love that album! I LOVE THAT BAND!!!!!!! :headbang:

Killers is an awesome album! Took me a while to get into it at first but then I fell totally in love with it. The way The Ides Of March flows into Wrathchild is just heavenly and songs like Purgatory, Murders In The Rue Morgue, Prodigal Son and the title track just make it such a superb album!!!!! I love the bass in it - esp Another Life.

1981 and my band was practicing in the high school auditorium. You know standard stuff Sabbath, Rush, Priest. Smiley (our singer) **comes running in with a tape player ** "You guys have got to hear this!! Chris, your gonna sh*t!"

Ides of March and then burning in to Paul's tortured growl in Wrathchild and I was hooked. :OMG:
I think I picked up every IM release up through Somewere in Time with in 2 days of release. Not easy to do living in a rural village in western Washington state. Killers may still be my favorite IM album, not a stinker in the list.

Although the Killers album is not my fav, it is a great album and the Killers song is my favorite. Strangely and surprisingly, Paul DiAnno does not like the Killers album and thinks it's complete crap. Don't believe me? Read his autobiography book "The Beast."

I like the first four Iron Maiden Albums about equally as well these days. Through out the line up changes and style changes, recording technique and technology changes each album stands on it's own as a masterpiece for me.
