So I just got back from seeing Vader and Kreator in Baltimore.

I wasn't too familiar with Vader before I went but they were awesome. They sound like what all death/thrash should sound like. Fast and tight.

Kreator however were awesome. They played quite a few songs from the last two albums - fine by me as I love the last two albums. But they also played some older tracks like Phobia, Flag of Hate, Extreme Aggression, Betrayer, People of the Lie, Pleasure to Kill.

I also managed to hang out with the band on their tour bus for about an hour after the show. Saying you're Australian has it's benefits! ;D

I took about 70-80 pics and will sort through them in the next day or so. In the meantime here's a short selection...

At first I thought, "Kreator is touring Australia?" Then I thought, "Hang on, this must be posted by Coops". Then I thought, "Hang on, Baltimore isn't in Australia".

That's a whole lotta thinking I could have saved myself if I had just checked in the first place who started the thread.

What did they open with Coops? I love how they open with the Violent Revolution material on Live Kreation, but wasn't sure if they still would these days. The Patriarch Violent Revolution and Reconquering The Throne are awesome as.

Also, who does one mention their Australian heritage to?

What about the Endless Pain days? Those were the glory days of Kreator. Pleasure To Kill is also fantastic, but it went downhill from there.

Blitzy, you mention it to their roadies. The played Reconquering the Throne and Patriach/Violent Revolution but they opened with Enemy of God and Impossible Brutatility.

THey played Endless Pain too.
