Lacrimosa!

hey!
i want to know your opinions about Lacrimosa.
I listened to "Ich verlasse heut dein Herz" by them, and I totally blown away.
they really play great!
i learn that they have 8 albums so far.
and i listened to "der ketzer" song in their first album "Angst" and it's more gothic than "ich verlasse heut dein herz" . there isn't even any part on "angst" that make me say "oh it's really heavy man!"
are they first start as a gothic band and slowly turned their direction to heavy/goth?

and finally, i want to start listening to them but i can't choose which one to start.
which album should i begin?

(and again and again, sorry for my bad english, i hope i can tell you what i really wanna tell. )

I only know their album Elodia. Absolutely divine!!! A perfect blend of hard rock with classical music. The whole album rocks, it's definitely a hit. The first song Am Ende der Stille is almost all orchestral (very poignant), Sanctus is an outstanding epic. Awesome record.

I have all of their albums and singles.
You can seperate their albums in three categories: dark wave/gothic, gothic metal and opera gothic metal.
Angst and Einsamkeit are gothic and depresed albums with very few metal parts... Their third album Satura was a step into more metal paths..... but not as metal as their next two albums Inferno and Stille which were gothic metal!
Elodia and Fassade are the operetic gothic albums mostly because of the orchestra performing with them...
My favourite albums are Angst, Satura and Elodia....
Tilo Wolff is a mastermind!

Well, Dionysos said it already Elodia was my first Lacrimosa album and it's still the best I've heard.

It was until Anne Nurmi joined Tilo in 1994...I think that was the right year..
