i agree, it does sound like there is a good amount of paul gilbert influence, but i still think he is extremely influenced by anything ozzy. some of his newer runs and licks are so zakk.

Yeah, especially the Everytime solo, and Sinergy's WRitten in Stone solo. Very Zakk.

From what I know, Alexi went to music school for at least a few years.
