i'm looking for CRAZY SAFARI, a sort of sequel to THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY, with Ching-Ying and N!xau fighting a chinese hopper AND an african zombie!

yeah, the animal treatment in most of these films is enough to brandish me a total hypocrite.

I wish they didn't do that shit. It really makes it hard for me to watch some of those movies, especially ones with Taoist magic like that.

there's really no way anyone can justify the slaughter of anything for the purpose of entertainment, but in my head, at least, i am contrasting:

a.) SURVIVOR, where i saw a BOATload of fish go to waste for the sake of one of their disposable stunts.

b.) ritual animal sacrifice in silly fighting films to portray Taoist magic ceremonies

the way i see it, SURVIVOR is trouncing the integrity of 20,000 fishies for themonetary betterment of other humans. advertisers, producers, and ultimately, one asshole contestant.

taoist magic films are sucking all of the same out of their product but also, at least, reminding humans of older, deeper, and perhaps more complex ways of viewing existence

or something. jesus. now someone needs to take this to the next level and call me "queer".
