I know this is available as part of the box set. But I would rather not have to buy BWP and D&D again.

Anyone know if it's available to buy separately?

i too have been looking for just a copy of lamentatons. my guess is ebay would be the only place to find it without being in the set.

Well surely the audio on the CD from the box set cant be that bad. Does anyone here actually own this?

Jesus christ can anyone give me a link to where I can buy it? bad quality or not, I need everything Opeth has released, but I really don't wan't the box set... :(

The CD audio is that bad. Buzzy throughout. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

+ 1... it sounds like fucking shit. But, for anyone that has the shitty sounding one: I wrote an email to someone (can't remember who) at Koch Entertainment, and explained the situation, and they promptly decided to ignore my email. So, I sent a second email with a little more pissed offness, and got a reply within hours, and a NEW box (with MUCH better sounding Lamentations CD) shipped to me, free of cost, overnight.

I used a DVD Decrypter to upload the Lamentations performance on to my computer, then used Videora to convert it to a Mpeg-4 and put it on my iPod. That way if I want to listen to the live performance without sticking in the dvd, or if I'm on the go, I can. The sounds not spectacular but it's not that bad either.

i converted the dvd to an audio track and put it on my mp3 player. it works but its one LONG song.....

or i can just play the dvd in vidio format on the mp3 player, but that kills the battery fast.

I own this and I can say that fuckin' SonyBMG-dealers recorded that CD from a fuckin 192-kbps mp3 and surely not from the original tape. It's really bad - even worse than DVD. Here's "Ending Credits", for example:
