I really hope that Lasse didn't have to pay for any Kemper every and got to keep all of them, cause his pack should boost the sales quite a bit.
For my part at least I'm going to get one now, really can't hold out much longer after this

The Kemper profiles the entire chain, including the cab.

A good head + cab + mic + pre + interface easily runs 4-5x the price of the Kemper, if not more. It's really not that expensive.

I totally disagree - it replaced my physical amps and cured my amp GAS entirely. It's been used on every production I've done since I got it and I love it more every single day. I sold a 5150 + Mesa 4x12 to get it, pretty straight trade. "Expensive" is a relative term; would you say a 5150 + Mesa 4x12 are 'expensive'? Because that's basically the cheapest setup you can get for a suitable gigging rig.

I could not agree with you more Jeff. Down here you would even get close to a decent head for $2K. Now you can pick up Lasses pack, for free, and kick some ass in seconds. How can you put a price on that.

Think on the dollars in the gear he used, not to mention the wealth of experience that went in to making them. Think of the time it saves you.

As a little side note, I get the shits when I buy a new piece of gear and one on my mates comments on how much cost. I'm quick to remind them that they burnt up about $5K last year on ciggies.

WE WORK. THAT MAKES US MONEY. Try it. We then spend it on Kempers. How does anyone afford anything? You save up. Or get a credit card. That's the dumb way though.

I sold my Mesa Mark V for $2,000 and bought the Kemper for $1900. I have used the Kemper far more than I did the Mesa, even though I loved that thing. They are well worth the price.

you can easily spend as much on a microphone and would not be anywhere near the hi end of that sector.

considering that the Kemper captures also the mics magic, it's not a whole lot of money for what it does.

mainly it saves a lot of time and that is the most precious of all commodities.

are any of you guys using a power amp and cab with the kemper? If so which poweramp works well with it thats not super expensive? I do know they now have the powerrack kemper but its only 700 bucks.
