Latest mix - KILLER band - LOTS of outboard

There's no particular order to processing other than a few generalities (like Limiter / Dithering last etc.) but you can experiment and see what you like best. As for M/S EQ I think using a bit conservatively can help get some more width, but width and 'cleanness' are more the sum of a number of factors in the mix.

This sounds really good Sacha. really good!. Missed this one.

I've blown the ribbon on my royer by using it the same distance you are and not even on a high gain amp : (

Thanks sir! That's shitty on the ribbon, and a little scary, did you have it angled? I guess clean would have more dynamic swing and transients than high gain too.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I just need to hit something!!!

Perfect

Cheers

Yep, 45 degrees, pretty much as you have on the picture, same distance as well. Repairing is free though, which is cool, but it's still crappy.

Really nice job on this dude, I'm diggiing the song itself as well!

This sounds AMAZING. I wish I could get my mixes to sound anywhere near this!
Fantastic drum sound... actually, fantastic everything sound!

Okay, don't wanna be nitpicking, especially since this is beyond anything I've ever done :) But the Snare and Kick sound kinda strange during this short blast beat section at the beginning... Besides that, smokes!
