Latest Work - Tech Death

Just finished this EP. I'm fairly happy with it, it had its issues and I learned a lot from doing it. It was my first time using real mics on a kit, although it's heavily sampled. Cymbals came out ok although they're a little loud at least it give it a more natural feeling. I could do with a nicer room!

I'm off to the listening party, here are the tracks - hopefully you'll think it's acceptable and won't roast me for it:

The overheads kinda sucks!lol The ride cymbal have the most annoying sound ever. The rest sounds good.

I don't think the ride is too annoying but it sure could have sounded hell of alot better. Other than that, good work!

I think Nuno Filipe meant how the ride sounds in the mix with its stereo position, volume and the drummer overusing it (but with half speed...) - not the actual sound. the 3rd track has less of it and sounds well balanced, like it.
