It was very fun. Marduk got booted out of the country, so Amon Amarth was the headliner, and Diobolic was the only other NAME there. The 2 local bands,,well,,,they'er agressive,thats as far as im gonna go, cause they were very cool off stage.
I hung out with Diabolic before their turn and after,,,very cool, very down to earth. I picked up their newest effort,,Vengence Acending,,,extreme speed/black/death metal. They sighned it for me. They have very nice leads, and their tone on the leads and solos is mind blowing, I have no clue how they get their tone,,,its nice.
Amon AMarth kicked vicking ass. Masters of War stood out for them. Tehy are death vicking metal. They have some power influences that work really good for their style. They have these doom like chordal riffs that are earth shakeing. They had some problems with the vocals for a while, but once it was lined out,,they kicked.
The local band Filth Porn brings this very heavy big boned girl on stage with them,,she wears this NUN outfit and a gas mask, and head bangs,,and fat roll bangs around the stage,,,her shirt was cut off , it was short, and she is very heavy,,so just close your eyes and imagine this chic in plastic, and a nun head cover with a gas mask, and her gut hanging out for all to see whilste all the time running around trying to look cool. hahahahaha
J. R. Riecher was the other local pocal. They have 2 guitar players and 2 bass players. When you ask why, and you will,,cause the extra bass player doesnt help them at all, any way, when you ask them why,,they'ell tell ya that they are all friends, and they all couldnt find a band, so they just got together,,then they laugh, and I threw up...no i didnt chuck hahahaha.
ANY-WAY, I had a great time, it was fun,,lots. I highly recomend you ppl to go see Amon Amarth and Diobolic. Dimmu Borrgir is going to be with them until Marduk can get their criminal asses lined out hahahaha.
