You know what? I have the same problem with teh indonesion volcano, as you do with Siberia. I have forgotten. I get back with ya on this. YOu just gave me something to do.

o.k.!!!!!!!! ha surprisingly i know alittle about this in fact i thinks i still have a pic which was someones interpetation of that event in sibera i found in a magizine a year or so ago it shows the meteor i think and had another drawing of the forest being leveled......

I have this big book from 1979, its called The Last Mysteries of the World. Siberia is about 40 pages. This book is LARGE. Its a BIG hard back. So 40 pages are liek ..........I dont know, a lot.
ANyway, the book is somewhat out of datehaha, but still packed with tons of out of sight info. IT tells in detail and shows scientific proof that it could have been one of 4 different things. A) a mini black hole could have passed through the earth. B) A comet. C) A Metiorite. D) A UFO crash. Sice then(1979) scientist are FOR SURE it was a comet that exploded just above the surface of the Earth. True? I have no idea?
What intregues(spell) me the most, is this: Horses were knocked down 400 miles away! Ppl got there faces burned red, no blisters, just red..400 miles away! Ppl closer than 400 miles, well, there clothing burnt off of their bodies, but NO ONE DIED. The explosion took place a bit past 7am, For a while, it was brighter than the sun. Ppl saw the glow 1000 miles away. This thing was big, more than 1 billion pounds of tnt, why was it just 20 sq miles th t was damaged? The place is still a waste, almost 100 yrs later.
The scientist know it exploded above the surface, because the trees that were downed, they had more traces of radioactivity on the top side of the highest branches. WHy didnt it completely destroy the trees? WHy was there no huge crater?
I havent searched teh net looking for info on Siberia yet. WHat made me think of it is, this guy i know let me watch this video on it. Then I went home and pulled out my OLD book. I also saw a bunch of programs on it at my motehrs on Discovery and TLC a long time ago. Im gonna do some searching this weekend on both subjects, if either of you find anything mindblowing on the subject, let us know about it, I will do the same.


I havent had the chance to look into the the volcano yet. wasnt this volcano a possible blame for the fall of Atlantis? As you know, they(scientist, archiologist, etc) have claimed Atlantis to have been damn near everywhere, including Indonesia.

Some say that ATLANTIS' fall came out of a war with the DRAVIDIAN civilization

I Think your right metalized. I dont know if its true, but they have so many explainations for the missing chunck of city lol.
Some say volcano, soem say earthquake, some say a combination of volcano and earthquake, there are so many theories, hell, the place is thearetical too really. The archiolagists dont have any real evidence of teh place. I would like to think atlantis was real, weather it was technicalogical or not. ANyway, my big book has some stuff on Atlantis too.

I think Atlantis was real sometime like so many other civilizations that we or any other civilization will ever know of.

Didn't Plato refer to Atlantis at some point??

...I can't think of where he mentioned them, but i remember something about it from a book i read a while ago, it is argued to be a ficticious reference that he used to get his point across about what he was talking about... Gahh... I can't remember properly.

Actually, ,,,(i cant remeber if it was plato or sacretis) his mentor told him the story of teh place. The location from his point was east of teh Pillars of Gibralter(hercules), which is now between Africa and Europe. BUT, In their time, the pillars were actually these two caverns that protruded from the sea, and the caverns were WEST of Greece! That could put atlantis in the mediterranian. ANd there are all kinds of artifacts under that body of water, but its against teh law to check them out. Teh book ive been refering to in this thread has a lot of info on what im typeing about, Ill check into it later and post on it tomorrow.
