Legal herb?

Yeah, I heard from someone..ahem..the real stuff is so much nicer. I do the legal stuff occasionally, but the side effects are actually a lot worse than the real thing...not that I would err..know or anything.

I've had mates who have taken Salvia and absolutely love it and would do it again, but I don't think it's for me. I think i'd just shit myself.
Easier to just stick to plain old weed

K-2 has been a popular topic lately, it's starting to appear everywhere in MN. I have a buddy that I work with that smokes it (UA's,) and says it's just as good as blazin' up normally. I have yet to try it, but I have other friends that smoke it occasionally and say the same thing.

Salvia is nothing like weed and really shouldn't even be part of the conversation. Like someone already said... it's a psychedelic... it's much closer to lsd or psilocybin, but really it's not much like those either. Erowid classifies it as an "atypical psychedelic."

For a long time most legal herbs have been a joke. Recently, there have been a few that are very active... K2, K3, Spice, etc. However, the active ingredient in all of them is JWH-018 (or a similar JWH chem). The different herb mixtures are just inert plant material used as a carrier for the JWH-018. JW Huffman, the man who invented it, has said that he doesn't recommend smoking it, because of 1. how readily avaible weed is/how easy it is to obtain and 2. because we don't know all that much about the JWH chems yet, and they could be quite bad for us.

I smoke weed fairly regularly.... I've tried both K2 and K3, because a friend had them when he was on probation... Yes, it will most definitely get you high... and yes, it seems pretty similar to weed in SOME aspects... but at the same time, it's different, and it's pretty easy to smoke too much and get paranoid. There's not much of a body high or tired/lethargic feeling. It's more mental... but doesn't feel very clean. It can cause sweating/headaches/paranoia/etc., and it happens to people fairly often. I probably won't ever try it again. Not enough is known about how it affects us... Weed is more enjoyable and more safe from a health perspective.

That sounds like the fast track to getting an anxiety disorder. Fuck that.
Weed seems to work in both ways.
Can induce anxiety in some people (leading to even full blown anxiety disorders), whereas in others it doesn't.
Even though I've been been diagnosed with two different anxiety disorders, I never ever experience anxious feelings or physical symptoms while high on pot, even when it smoke it for several days in a row (but not high all day, just once a day in those consecutive days).
LSD however, gave me major panic attacks.

Weed has made me paranoid/got my heart racing/etc. a few times... but that kind of thing usually happens with really strong sativas... sour diesel, haze, etc.... and smoking A LOT of it in a relatively small amount of time.

With that JWH stuff, you can just tell right away that the potential for paranoia is there. It gives off a weird vibe, and it seems like it would be really easy to do too much... If I had to pick a word to describe it, I guess jittery would be a good one.

Thanks for the feedback guys. That was my general feeling as well -- that it's probably dangerous and has bad side effects. Guess it's best to stick to the real thing.
