if u really care about Peter's interview,i think you won't say words like this"don't take lyrics too serious."Peter was serious about every single verse.
beside,the lyrics were the reflection of writer's mind,weren't they? as it is very important part of music,it's noting wrong that i take lyrics serious.riffs,solo,drums.....all elments of music are all for the theme,which was reflect by the lyrics.
