Let's celebrate: Hatebreeder

Not really a thing to celebrate about IMO. And anyways, most of that "masterpiece" was ripped off of some classical music.

Hey hey hey, I think we should appreciate the fact that CoB got to create such an album which contains hints at classical music, mixed up with heavier music... and yes: that album is a masterpiece to me too.

Whether to celebrate anything or not, that is another matter.

Anyway, Hatebreeder pwns, still does after so many years. :kickass:

:kickass::kickass::kickass: to the second best album in Bodom's discography.

Doesn't matter whether parts were "ripped off" of classical music, or not. Fact is, they adapted it to their own style, and put their own spin on that music.

QED.

Hatebreeder - one of the best albums ever.

Is in my top three best albums. Together with some unknown shit.

Fate - Scratch N Sniff

and Freak Kitchen - Appetizer.

And about the "classical" rip offs, well. I don't care. They refreshed it a new way, their own way, and almost every piece of music is similar to something else, just in a new way.
It didn't feel as rip offy as some of Something Wild did, more like their completely own style. (Lake Bodom is still one of my favorite bodom songs though)
