Not really a thing to celebrate about IMO. And anyways, most of that "masterpiece" was ripped off of some classical music.

One of my top ten favourite albums of ALL time!! Thank you for this masterpiece Bodom!! Time to listen to it 9 times in a row!!

Hey hey hey, I think we should appreciate the fact that CoB got to create such an album which contains hints at classical music, mixed up with heavier music... and yes: that album is a masterpiece to me too.
Whether to celebrate anything or not, that is another matter.
Anyway, Hatebreeder pwns, still does after so many years.
to the second best album in Bodom's discography.Doesn't matter whether parts were "ripped off" of classical music, or not. Fact is, they adapted it to their own style, and put their own spin on that music.

are you fucking retarded...just pretty much HB and SW are void? and all of malmsteen's shit? and symphony x? hatebreeder is my favorite metal album of all time and it reigns as children of bodoms best. IMO. fucking great album

Hatebreeder: Melodic Death Metal with influences from Classical and '90 Japanese Video Game music.
Hatebreeder - one of the best albums ever.
Is in my top three best albums. Together with some unknown shit.
Fate - Scratch N Sniff
and Freak Kitchen - Appetizer.
And about the "classical" rip offs, well. I don't care. They refreshed it a new way, their own way, and almost every piece of music is similar to something else, just in a new way.
It didn't feel as rip offy as some of Something Wild did, more like their completely own style. (Lake Bodom is still one of my favorite bodom songs though)
