Life between winter and summer sport seasons

Is it just me, or does the period between footy and cricket seasons suck copious amounts of arse (or ass, for the Ameriphiles on the board)? Spring weather is great, but it also brings about horse racing, for fuck's sake.

Do what I do all year round. Try to forget sport even exists and crack open a book. This world would be a much less stupid place if everyone did the same .

Whilst I don't watch much of either, I am glad Football, which I can get into to some extent, is on during winter when there is less to do, and cricket is on during summer, when I am less inclined to sit in front of the tv. Test cricket is boring as fuck.

I hate it when sport is on almost every channel, which usually happens on a Sunday, when I am most inclined to want to veg and watch some tv. Motorsport on one channel which is the worst, football/cricket on another, soccer on SBS...so annoying.

Sport makes life exciting, but only when it's good sport.

Test cricket rules - it's great when you want to kick back on a hot day and not do much.

Weekend tv is a waste of space when there's no sport on anyway, so you probably wouldn't be getting much to watch if there was no sport on anyway, Jordan!

The Tri-Nations Rugby League will be on until the end of November or so, so that's something to keep us occupied.

Can't say I ever had the pleasure! If the Hi-5 chicks could indulge in a spot of it I'd be after a front row seat.

Beauchamp did nearly fuck it up in the first part of the match. We played all over them, and it was a very comfortable 2-0. Nice goal by Bresciano!
