A Nation on Fire
I hope we haven't had this discussion before but my brain is like gruyere sometimes ...
What were the albums that changed your life, changed your perception of music, even got you INTO music or into a new style of music ...
Not necessarily your favourite albums but those which traumatised you ( in a good or a bad way ) at a precise moment if you see what I mean ?

Iron Maiden: 7th son of a 7th son

these are the ones that pop into my head immediatly

Metallica - Load

:D:D

No shit! This is the album that was the key to metal, when I was 11 years old. I'm not quite sure if I'd be into metal without this one.
Anyway, I don't like it anymore of course, but it made me check out the other Metallica albums, which blew me away.

Albums that were really important for me and not just a list of important albums

Judgement
Radiohead - OK Computer
Iron Maiden - Killers
Moonspell - Sin (actually their gig at graspop 1998 was even more important to me)

Anathema - Judgement
Katatonia - Tonight's Decision
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Isis - Oceanic
My Dying Bride - Like Gods of the Sun
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black

There are only few. There's no album that really changed my life though.

*Tiamat - A Deeper Kind Of Slumber
*Opeth - Deliverance
*Type O Negative - October Rust
* ...all Anathema albums since The Silent Enigma are very special to me. Seems like I grew older together/simultaneously with those albums.
